Great Ape Software was formed in 1998 by Steve Townsend to develop software for the fast growing PDA and Smartphone market.

The company is now focusing on developing OpenGL ES racing games for top end smart phones. Oval Racer is the first of what is planned to be growing number of leading edge racing games, combining realistic racing physics and advanced AI opponents with highly optimised graphics. The underlying code base has been designed specifically for the smartphone market and designed to provide maximum playability and performance on devices with limited hardware

We are currently looking for partners for both distribution of Oval Racer and to work together with on follow up development projects.
