Steve Townsend
Great Ape Software's founder, Steve Townsend, has unparalleled experience in developing software for the Symbian O/S, having worked at Psion from 1987 until 1997 followed by a year at Purple Software in 1997/98. He was involved in the development of both the original Epoc 16 system as well as Symbian O/S originally developed for Psion Series 5 computers and now used by a large number of smart phones.
Projects worked on include development of the original MC400 through the Series 3, HC, Series3a, 3mx computers and onto the Series 5, 5mx before moving to the Symbian smartphone market and working on various projects including the Nokia 9210, 9500 and Series 90 system.
Previous to joining Psion he had developed a number of games for the Sinclair ZX81, ZX Spectrum and QL computers, marketed by Mikro-Gen and Psion.
